ASTM A213 Grade T5 is a seamless alloy steel tube designed for high-temperature service, commonly used in boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers. Made from a 5Cr-0.5Mo alloy, it offers excellent strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability, making it ideal for applications in power plants, refineries, and petrochemical industries. It is part of the ASTM A213 standard, which covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel tubes for pressure systems.

The normalized state of these flanges is highly uniform. We found no grain issues during subsequent NDT testing, and they fit the shell perfectly.

Very cost-competitive compared to European suppliers without compromising safety. The ASME certification was validated by our third-party inspector from Lloyd's Register. We used this reactor for our diesel hydrodesulfurization unit—startup was smooth, no hot spots or leakage issues. The vendor provided excellent Hindi-speaking technical support during commissioning. For Indian market, they even offered flexible payment terms. Highly recommended for developing economy projects.
