GOST9941-81 12X18H12T Seamless Boiler Tube, Russian Standard, High Nickel Content,TY-14-3P-55-2001

GOST 9941-81 12X18H12T seamless pipe is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel seamless pipe under the Russian standard. It is widely used in chemical, power, and other fields requiring high-temperature and corrosive environments due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance. Although this standard has been superseded by GOST 9941-2022, it is still widely recognized and used in actual trade and engineering.

Material grade: 12X18H12T. This is an austenitic grade stainless steel. Its core characteristic is the addition of titanium (Ti) as a stabilizing element to prevent intergranular corrosion during welding or high-temperature service.

Its international equivalent is mainly AISI 321, but there are significant differences. 12X18H12T has a nickel content as high as 11%, resulting in a much higher price in addition to performance differences.
