ASTM A210 Grade A1 / ASME SA210 Grade A1 seamless steel tubes are designed for boiler, superheater, and heat exchanger applications. The specification covers minimum wall thickness, seamless medium-carbon steel tubes, boiler flues including safe ends, arch tubes, and stay tubes. Steel used under ASTM A210 Grade A1 is required to be killed steel. Tensile and hardness requirements apply to specific size limitations per ASME SA210 / SA450 standards. All finished tubes are marked to designate whether they are produced via hot-finished or cold-finished processes.
