ASTM A192 / ASME SA192 covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless carbon steel boiler and superheater tubes engineered for high-pressure service, shell and tube heat exchanger units, and custom u tube bundle configurations. Manufactured through hot-finished or cold-drawn seamless processes, cold-finished tubes undergo mandatory thermal processing at 1200°F (650°C) or higher to achieve optimum ductility and strength for finned tube bundle fabrication and heat exchanger tubesheet expansion.
